Marquee Layout for 550 Guests
A client approached me with a request to design a layout for a marquee they had hired. Their goal was to ensure the marquee had enough room for the number of tables, chairs, the decor, emergency exits, stage, bar, production and monitor desk they had planned and also to allow enough room at the entrance of the marquee to allow guests to enter comfortably. Using the provided dimensions, I created an accurate floor plan that brought all of their elements together.
After reviewing the initial design, it became evident that their original plan needed adjustments. They requested I explore new configurations to enhance the guest experience. Through close collaboration, we refined the design to bring their vision to life. The final layout not only streamlined their planning process but also provided a clear, professional image for client meetings. It will serve as a key reference during event setup, ensuring suppliers position their items correctly.
Ballroom Floor Plan for Corporate Dinner

A local event management company requested a bespoke floor plan for an upcoming corporate event. The event managers intended to use only a section of the event room rather than the entire space, and their client required confirmation that all key elements would fit and their guests would feel comfortable in the space. I developed a scaled layout focusing on the designated area, carefully accommodating six tables, a dancefloor, a stage, and a baby grand piano. As the piano was a fixed feature within the room, I had to ensure that the arrangement of the other elements maintained both functionality and flow without repositioning it.
The resulting floor plan provided the client and event managers with clarity and confidence in their decisions. This clear and professional blueprint for the event setup will be shared with both the venue and suppliers, ensuring correct event set-up without the event managers required on-site.
